Abstract

To support capacity building, learning and employability among black and ethnic minority communities in South Wales:

bulletProvide essential information, advice, training and networking to enable members of grass-roots organisations in three locations to become facilitators of learning champions for the black and ethnic minorities they serve.

Closer liaison between black communities and the wider learning and employment infrastructure.

Producing important lessons for the evolving lifelong learning strategies in Wales.

Recommendations

bulletThe Directory of Trainers - who are sensitive to the particular needs of black and ethnic learners - is an important outcome from the work.
