Development of Learners’ Leaflets

Project Status: Current

We are currently developing a series of leaflets for learners with mental health difficulties, or people with mental health difficulties who are thinking about taking up learning. Shortly we will be producing:

bulletYou Can Do It – An introductory leaflet designed to encourage people to consider the benefits of taking up learning and some ideas about how to find out about suitable learning opportunities.
bulletShould I Say? – A brief leaflet to help people with mental health difficulties consider whether to disclose to their learning provider.
bulletA Learner’s Guide to Disclosure – A long guide to help people with mental health difficulties consider in more detail whether to disclose to their learning provider.

We hope to produce more leaflets to support learners with mental health difficulties in their learning journeys. If you have any suggestions please contact Caroline Law at caroline.law@niace.org.uk  or 0116 2044249.
