Prescriptions for Learning Consortium

Project Status: Completed

The objectives of the consortium are:

bulletTo provide support to Learning Advisors engaged in ‘Prescriptions for Learning’ type projects.
bulletTo provide networking opportunities for Learning Advisers.
bulletTo share ideas, strategies and good practice.
bulletTo discuss concerns, difficulties and barriers
bulletTo disseminate good practice and findings

There are now 85 member organisations of the Consortium, who are either setting up a ‘Prescriptions for Learning’ type project or who are running one.

The consortium have met 12 times and will result in a good practice guide on setting up Prescriptions for Learning projects to be published in August 2003. Notes on the meetings are available from Sue Rees on susan.rees@niace.org.uk.
