CPD training events for managers, tutors and partner organisations

Under phase 3 of the project, NIACE is organising one day training events to build on the national training which has already taken place and to support on-going delivery and partnership work.

The one day sessions are either wider family learning or family financial capability.

The wider family learning session will include:

bulletthe launch of briefing papers in the four curriculum areas, sustainable development, community cohesion, arts and culture and health and well-being
bulletan update on policy developments
bulletinput on community cohesion and sustainable development to support curriculum development
bulletsharing of successes and challenges in delivery so far

The financial capability session will include:

bulletan update on policy developments
bulletinput to support curriculum development
bulletsharing of successes and challenges in delivery so far
bulletdeveloping contextualised courses

The training events are free of charge and include lunch.

Arrival and registration: 10:00am Close of seminar: 3:30pm

Places are limited. Bookings are restricted to Family Learning Impact Funding (FLIF) providers only and to one place for a member of staff per Local Authority and one place for a relevant partner agency for the FLIF provider.
